Monthly Goals

I am a little late for my Monthly goals, but it’s better late than never ๐Ÿ˜‰

If you missed my Resolutions Update, you can find it here. The post is about what I did so far, until May.

This month my goals are very specifics. These past 2-3 months I got too distracted and too overwhelmed so not much work had been done.

So,ย without further adieu here are my May goals:

My goal for this month is to FINISH!

I want to finish Project Zero (I’m working on a new title for it – finally!). I have very little left and just need to find my motivation again and finished it. Hopefully, I will finish it before the end of May, but my deadline is until the end of May.

So: 8675 words (or so) Until 31.5.2015.

MailChimp is such a wonderful and easy site that made the making of my newsletter so easy. I am thankful it’s free and so helpful โค

The newsletter is set (finally) and so are a few mini surprises and it will be up by May 15th, yey ๐Ÿ™‚ I have so many ideas for this, I hope I will be able to do them.

I am starting to look at Indie publishing and making a list of what I need to do and at the same time, I need to work on editors list and agents for the more traditional publishing as I don’t think our budget will allow me to go with indie publishing (but will see).

May is social themed for me, lol. I want each week to work on one social media and better it as much as I can so it will look better and cleaner and much more organized.

I will not read any extra books, only what I need to read for a review ๐Ÿ™‚ I just don’t have time for that. Maybe next month I will be able to read some more books that are waiting for me but for now, it’s enough.

I will be reading my editing book and taking tons of note, lol, so my reading pile for May is full ๐Ÿ˜€

I am scheduling (yes, lol, finally did it) my posts and I hope this will make it easier for me to keep my posts on specific days each week.

After looking at my more popular posts, that you liked, and I got inspired to introduce you to a new small feature that will come sometime in mid-May. For now, I will leave it at that ๐Ÿ˜€

I started a new plan to lose some weight now that summer is here (almost) and My goal for this month is to not just lose weight but be more organized with my meals and cut down on the junk food and all the soft drinks (diet coke, mostly).

* Eat regular and thought of meals, with veggies.

* Workout each day for no longer than 10 minutes. I know that’s not a lot, but that’s what I can do and for me, it works great. There are so many great videos on YouTube of even 5 min workout (how awesome is that?)

Here are my favorite 2 at the moment ๐Ÿ™‚

* Drink more water.

That is all for this May Goals I hope you liked reading all about it.

Do you have any goals for this month you really want to work towards? Don’t forget to share in the comments, I love reading your thoughts ๐Ÿ™‚

As always, thank you so much for reading โค

Social With Me

It’s been 3+ months since I’ve started this blog and I’ve already met so many amazing people on WordPress. I can’t wait to continue together on this beautiful journey that we have already stated.

I am a bit sick right now, but I wanted to send this post out with no delay ๐Ÿ™‚

I am slowly changing my blog to what I want (sorry it’s going so slow, lol) and I wanted to share with you some of the other platforms where you can find me and I can find you. Part of my New Year’s Resolutions is to be more social and expand my writer’s platform, so I am trying to connect to others through many social medias. I love hearing from you all so much, I can’t even say this enough… I care about your thoughts and ideas and getting to know you better.

Don’t be shy and feel free to say hello, like if you haven’t done it before.

If I am not writing, you will find me there, lol. Just click on the link and it will take you directly to my profile.

  • Btw, this post was inspired by the lovely Karen from confetti and curves. I saw her post and I thought it’s a nice idea to share my social media new and old ๐Ÿ™‚

January Update

I really wanted to do a small recap of January so far, as we are in the middle of the month.

This month is shaping up to be a major month of changes for me. This is the month I step outside of my solitary shell as a writer and slowly transform into a more determined and more professional writer.

So far I wrote 18 pages to my story, well I wrote 20 but deleted 4 then added 2 new ones, lol, too much math?

I get very much inspired by own determination, as I see myself stepping out and overcoming my greatest fear in regards to this business of being an author someday. I am sure you guessed it by now it is my picture. The moment I shared it, everything opened, No more fear! Well that’s not true, lol, I still have fears, but not on the subject where people know who I am. Now that I am “out there” more, much more than before, it has become easier for me to write.

I am looking for a better space for me to write, that will be only for that, nothing more. That way, whenever I see that place I’ll know it’s just for writing, like a trigger. I know many authors I love, have that and I think it will aid me as well and push me even more in my writing.

My plan for the next two weeks is to push myself a bit more and write about 50 more pages. It can be a lot with all I need to do, but I really want to do this so sacrifices will have to be made.

  • My plan for the next few months is to combine my writing with my editing. It means that I want to edit one of the books I wrote already called The Adventures Of Biloby The Wizard. I just need to see how to do them both ๐Ÿ˜€

My Author Platform and social media

For me this is the hard part, I wish I had the budget to hire someone to do that for me, lol, but I can’t.

I am learning and researching a lot. Tons of notes have already started to pile up in my social media folder, that I really need to sort, lol. I am looking not only on how they (Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest…) work but also on how I can use them for my needs and what else I need as a writer and as a future author (hopefully).

This research even helps me to be more social with my wonderful readers and get to know them better โค

My Blog

No major change here, I am still posting at the same rate, but in the coming weeks, I am planning to post more ๐Ÿ™‚

I want to try harder to stay in touch with my readers.

Sugar and processed food free January

In this, I am doing very well ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s hard but I am very determined to stick with it. It’s harder than I thought as a lot of foods contains sugar (much more than I thought). It makes my life a bit, well let’s be honest a lot, harder! Everything has sugar in it, lol, even smoked salmon that I looove, I wanted to buy some today but the second ingredient in it was sugar… why? Oh well.

Sadly, none. I don’t know how to fit it in with everything else, but I am thinking about it.

At the start of the January I finished 2 books, but since then I haven’t read at all.

That is all for my update, hope you are having a great weekend and you are all resting well.

Thank you so much for reading โค
