10 Apps & Sites I Use (almost) Every Day

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a great Tuesday ❀

I had a few very hard days in every aspect of my well being, but today I can finally rest and do theΒ things I love, like talking to you πŸ˜‰

As a blogger and a writer, I gathered some great apps that are actually useful. I also found some cool sites to help any fellow writer/blogger do their work better. Some of the apps are more obvious than others but because I use them almost daily they got their spot of honor in my top 10 (my phone camera, calendar, and Gmail are not included as it’s too obvious and because I don’t have a regular camera, I use my phone camera for everything) and I’m also not including WordPress site as it’s too obvious πŸ˜‰

So let’s start…

Instagram App

I am obsessed with Instagram and I want to use it more for my blogging/writing. I think it’s a wonderful tool and can be utilized well for your business. For me it means, putting more of my own pictures which are a not an easy task for me.

My Instagram

Google Keep App/Site

This is a very overlooked app (or site) but it’s amazing. I use it for my notes daily and even multiple times a day. I have labels for my mom, my writing/work, my blog, home and many more and you can color code the notes, put pictures, links, record voice, draw… But still keeping everything looking simple in the presentation – I love it. I’ve been using it for almost 2 years and I am loving it. It’s like a pocket planner for notes, hehe πŸ˜€

Google Keep

Grammarly Site

Okay, this site has taken over my life completely and I use the free option. It helps so much with writing anything, from writing blog posts, comments, and even writing your novel, lol. I use the site, it’s on my chrome and even my windows. Such a simple tool but works well and beyond. I can’t even imagine writing anything online without this site. I wish they had an app as well.

WordPress App

My blog is on WordPress, so I naturally have the app. I don’t use it a lot, mainly with comments and likes, but it’s a useful app to have around if you’re a WordPress blogger.

WordPress AndroidΒ / WordPress IOS

Pixabay Site

I love taking pictures on my own, but I don’t want to put my already very rare free time on taking pictures, I want to use that time to actually write my book or edit it and connect with you ❀ So I use Pixabay a lot – A lot! I love this site and I think everyone can find gorgeous pictures that will relate to what you like and what’s your blog is about.

Canva Site/App

If you edit your pictures for a blog post this site is for you. I used to use the picmonkey but then they deleted the free option (they have a 7 days free trial) so I switched to Canva and I am so happy I did, it’s amazing. It has great options for every social media, newsletter, and posts, and so much more. Everything is so approachable and easy.

This one is my favorite, though I mostly use the site. I also have the app which is also very nice to use however, I use it to share my edited picture that is already saved on the site and so I don’t need to download right away and just share from the app. I use the site daily as well and it’s one of my most used sites after Instagram and Google Keep πŸ™‚

Buffer App/Site

This is my favorite scheduling app for my twitter, it’s sad that they give you just so little free scheduling but I’ll take what I can πŸ˜‰ I use this app and site a lot and I need to use it more, hehe. If you know any good free scheduling tool, let me know πŸ˜€

Buffer Site

Twitter App

This one is obvious, I think. I love twitter a lot and I want to use it more for connecting with you and for my writing. I try to use my twitter daily but in most cases, I use it every second day or so, but I do comment and like a lot. This is a very helpful tool for any blogger/writer and I need to really utilize it more.

My Twitter

Dropbox App (and site)

This is pretty obvious as well, I think, well at least for me. I use it so much daily for storing my pictures (mostly) but also notes and all of my huge pile of Ebooks (I have too many books both paper and ebooks… I need help).

Hemingway Editor Site

This is a relatively new site for me but I absolutely love it. If you like to get truly “abused” and see your writing shred apart with beautiful colors of errors this is the site for you πŸ˜‰ as I edit my novel, after each chapter I put in Grammarly and after that I put in this Hemingway Editor Site, lol (yes I know… and I am… Crazy, hehe) and there I see all the wonderful errors I would never catch by myself, YAY.

So I truly think that this site is an amazing tool for writers and if you like your book to be the best it can be, put your chapter in there and start editing πŸ˜€

Hemingway Editor

  • A bonus appΒ is for editing pictures that I use so many times a day, way too much. Is called Snapseed which is a great and easy app to edit your picture very professional looking. I love using this app a lot and it’s free πŸ˜‰

Snapseed Android / Snapseed IOS

What app (or site) is your favorite?

Good Bye, Coffee n' Notes

As always, thank you so much for reading ❀

The Liebster Award

Happy Tuesday to you all,

I hope you are all having a wonderful and restful day. Today was a nice day beside my eye swelling up (don’t know why), but other than that it was a nice and calm day at home while I caught up on some blog posts and house chores.

I was nominated for this award a while back by the lovely Karen from Shade But No Shade blog. Thank you so much for this amazing award Karen and I am so sorry for being so late in posting this award. If you don’t know Karen or her lovely blog, go pay her a visit and say hello πŸ™‚

  1. Once you are nominated, make a post thanking and linking the person who nominated you.
  2. Include the Liebster Award sticker in the post too.
  3. Nominate 10 other bloggers who you feel are worthy of this award. Let them know they have been nominated by commenting on one of their posts. You can also nominate the person who nominated you.
  4. Answer the ten questions asked to you by the person who nominated you, and make ten questions of your own for your nominees.
  5. Lastly, COPY these rules in the post.
    Stay Blogging Peeps! πŸ™‚

Karen’s Questions:

What inspires you to be the best you that you can be?

Such a great question. I think for me it’s since I was a kid, if I loved something I wanted to be the best I can be. As a person, I think what inspire me to be the best I can be is the people I love. They show me who I am each day and who I want to be… For me they are very inspiring and motivating πŸ™‚

Choose one life changing moment. What would it be and why?

It’s hard to choose, but I will make this more specific to blogging. Starting Coffee n’ Notes changed my life in so many ways. I became less scared of sharing and talking to others, I enjoy the community so much and the supporting people but mostly it made me love writing even more than before.

Do you prefer paperback, hardcover, tablets, or e-readers? Tell me why! πŸ˜€

I love them all, lol πŸ˜€ Each and every one of these have their own purpose in my life. But printed books are the best I think. The smell of a new book as I flip through the pages is beyond amazing to me.

If you could go back in time, what is one moment you would tell the β€œyounger” you to avoid?

Don’t listen to the people who said I can’t do things.

What is your all time favorite song?

Breathe Me By Sia ❀ But I also love the song Who will love me now By PJ Harvey. They are so… perfect and always make me emotional πŸ˜€

You only get one meal to eat on a Friday. Would you eat healthy or go all in?

All in, lol.

Who do you look up to and how did they make an impact?

I have some authors that inspire me to work harder when I know how they worked and struggled, but lately there are a few bloggers here that make me think of my writing and blogging as I read their posts.

What has blogging done for you?

Wow! Big question πŸ˜€ Blogging changed my life so much and I have learned so much about my writing and my life. The people here are so amazing and so supportive that it helped me free the anxiety I feel each time I want to share my writing or any socializing, lol.

Do you have any favorite activities besides blogging? Please share! πŸ™‚

Writing πŸ˜€ Reading ❀ But also I love to play the guitar, sing (badly, but I still love it, lol), draw, color, and paint, game as much as I can (gw2 mostly) ❀

Describe your best childhood moment. Do you miss it?

I stared at this question for too long, lol and sadly I really can’t think of the ‘best childhood moment’ But I do miss people from my childhood.

That is all for this award, hope you enjoyed reading and getting to know me a little more πŸ™‚

Most of my fellow bloggers had already done this award, so I am not going to nominate anyone for this award, however, if you want to do this award consider yourself nominated πŸ˜€

As always, thank you so much for reading ❀

Fav Five

Hello everyone, hope you are all having a nice day πŸ™‚ Today I am at home and even though I need to do tons of stuff around the house, I just don’t feel like doing, lol (will do them later). This post was meant to up yesterday, but after the day I had, I just wanted to sleep. No worries it is here today πŸ˜€

It is time for another Fav Five (two weeks had gone by fast). I do hope that you like this little feature on the blog and this Fav Five came right in time for my trip πŸ˜€ London Baby!

So here is my Fav five (I will try to keep this short) πŸ˜‰

Arcane Quest

For my more geeky/nerdy readers, I wanted to share with you an awesome android game called the Arcane Quest. I just bought the Ultimate Edition as both hubby, and I are addicted to this game πŸ˜€ We have it on our tablet and I have it on my phone ❀

This is such an awesome game and it very similar to the HeroQuest boardgame we have. This game is so much fun and has a cool D&D feel to it. You have the basic quest, but you can also download tons of other quest people did – love it!

Reboot by Amy Tintera.

I re-read this book again because I want to read the next book in this series called Rebel. I really loved reading this book. It was such a fun and light read and I love the idea (it sounds like it could be a nice movie) πŸ˜€ Can’t wait to read Rebel. I have it in my Kindle but I don’t have time to read it yet, but I hope that soon I will.

60 Second Mask (hair mask)

Okay you guys, this mask is amazing for super dry hair (like mine). I tried so many masks that are out there, but sadly none did anything. This one I got from my hair-dresser as a gift to try out, at first I didn’t think it will do anything and now after 2 weeks of experience with it, I had to say that this mask is unbelievable and it smells really good πŸ˜€ My hair is still dry, lol, but it feels much smoother to touch (yey).

I am sure to buy more of the Kava Kava, 60 Second Mask ❀

Podcast Addict App

I have this app for a long time, but now that I am on the road a lot, I get to use it much more. If you like podcasts this such a fun and simple way to listen to. I put it in the car and listen to my favorite episode. Love it!

A few of my favorite podcasts are:

The Nerdist + The Nerdist writer’s panel.

Stuff mom never told you.

Pop my culture.

 London ❀

LOL. This enters the category because I have only 1 week left till our trip and my mind is all mushed to a puddle. I am both excited and scared, lol. But mostly I can’t wait to see the sights, to walk the walks and buy some wonderful buys πŸ˜€ My mind is obsessed with detailed as both hubby and I are trying to plan this trip to the max ❀

That is all for this Fav Five, hope you like it and if you have some cool places, nice food or shops that you think I would love to see while I’m in London, don’t be shy and share your thoughts πŸ™‚

((For me it’s time for more coffee))

As always, thank you so much for reading ❀

Fav Five

Hi everyone, welcome back to another Fav Five πŸ˜€ How is your day going so far? I hope you are all having a wonderful Monday ❀

My day was overall nice, I was at home all day and I managed to do some of the things I wanted and planned, even had some relaxing time. The heat is still unbearable and I daydream of rain and cold, lol, a lot (no…really, I do).

I am still behind on reading your great posts, but tomorrow I plan to dedicate my entire morning just for you! (Yes, you!) and read tons of posts (can’t wait).

For this Fav Five, I am going to post only 3 favorite things (sorry), but these couple of weeks were extremely busy and these are truly my favorites. I have some new things and some things that you might already know if you saw my Instagram or twitter πŸ˜€

So let’s start…

My Phone ❀

Ok, I just have to put it here (sorry, lol), but I love my new phone with its white-pink case. It’s so nice to have a phone that really works smoothly and not crashes on me every time I try to do something. I can even play smoothly, lol (Love it) πŸ˜€ I already was able to jot down some ideas and did some writing in it (perfect) ❀

Adult Coloring Book (Oh yeah…)

I already bought a few and I was able to sit down and do some coloring, it was sooo relaxing and fun… highly recommend it. I already had a lot of colored pencils in the house but sadly, most of them were so soft and barely pigmented that I was very disappointed. I need to buy some good quality of colored pencils πŸ˜€ After that, I left the pencils and took out my thin pens and thin highlighters and started to color with them (Only started with bubbles in this coloring book… Click to enlarge) πŸ˜€

Critical Role (D&D Show)

Both hubby and I are addicted to this show called Critical Role from Geek and Sundry (As well as to Titansgrave). It’s a long show (of 3 to 5 hours, lol) where we watch amazing people play D&D (dungeon and dragons). I love the show and it’s just so inspiring for me to see their characters and adventures (just love it) ❀

Okay, that is all for this Fav Five or Fav Three, lol, sorry about that πŸ˜‰

I hope you have some awesome things you loved this week and if not, I hope you’ll have some soon (it’s only Monday) πŸ˜€

As always, thank you so much for reading ❀

Fav Five

Hello, my beautiful readers and fellow bloggers, I’ve missed you all ❀

This week started out slower than the previous ones and I had time to look at some of your wonderful posts (sorry that I am still so behind, I will get there, lol, sigh…). If you missed my first Fav Five, I linked it here for you to see πŸ˜€

I am still working on decluttering my home, clean and organize it as it is a huge mess right now (still). But before I will keep on with my ramblings on that, let’s start with the last Fav Five of July πŸ™‚

Garnier Intensive 7 Days Daily Body Lotion with nourishing COCOA BUTTER

(for Dry and Rough)

At first, I wanted to buy the same one my mom bought, but they all sold out 😦 So… I ended up buying this one and I love it! ❀ This body lotion is amazing, it left my skin soft and smooth, even in this extreme heat. It wasn’t heavy on the skin like most body lotions are (I hate that it feel so heavy, especially in the summer) and I am in love with the smell as well (I love the cocoa butter smell). This definitely earned its place in my Fav Five πŸ˜€

My Travel Cup πŸ˜‰

Now, this may look crazy or silly for most of you, but I really (truly) love this cup πŸ™‚ I am out and about a lot now and the heat is just unbearable, so my mom bought me this cute Hello Kitty Cup and I use it every day ❀ (Thank you, mom).

Every day I grab the cup and fill it with cold drinks (of what I feel like it that day: coffee, diet coke, and water) and get into the car. It helps so much to keep myself hydrated, especially when I get back for my mom and enter the hot car that stood in the sun for 5 hours πŸ˜€

Prepare to be “geekified”, lol…

Here I have some of the online games that I really have been playing a lot lately (even if they are a bit old) and they don’t need much thinking (really nice for relaxing, lol).

I really enjoy playing them on my tablet as well (and much more…) while I am slowly drifting to sleep πŸ˜€

L ‘Oreal Colour Riche Dual Effects

At first, I wasn’t so sure I will like it, as the packaging looks a bit cheap, but I really like this so far. I love the colors and how it stays on the eyelid πŸ˜€ The colors are beautiful and there isn’t much fallout (perfect).

Paul Mitchell: Super Skinny Serum ❀

I bought this huge tube of serum from my head dresser and it wasn’t cheap at all. I was very skeptic about its efficiency and didn’t think it would do any good (as most of these products). Not to my super dry hair anyway.

But it did help and it still does help a lot πŸ˜€ I really love it. I use it every day (if I go out of the house or not) and I really need to buy another tube (after 3 months of using) ❀

That is all for this Fav Five, hope you like my favorites πŸ˜€

As always, thank you so much for reading ❀

Fav Five

Hello, my fellow bloggers and online readers,

I hope you are all having a great Monday, mine is super busy even though I am at home today and not with my mom. I am trying to make our home, less messy and dust infested, lol.

My main goal for this week is to declutter our house and reorganize it πŸ™‚ Because the first two weeks of July were more than busy and hectic, I wanted to share with you my Fav Five items that helped me with all these hectic days. So let’s start πŸ˜‰

New Bag ❀

Bag This is a new bag that I bought this month. It is from,Β a local brand of shoes called ToGo, but they sell bags as well. They did a nice sale so I jumped in the car with hubby and we drove to the store.

This bag helped me so much already, as it’s big enough (finally) for all my things and even my mom’s stuff that she needs. Currently, it holds everything (even my tablet and other gadgets) except my little makeup bag and my glasses, that is resting on the kitchen table.

I have even been able to put inside my cold water huge to-go cup πŸ˜€ As you see it is extremely messy (I need to organize things in a small bags), but I love it so much. If you want to see more of what’s in my bag let me know and I will do a post on it πŸ˜‰

Energy Bars (Yummy Bars)

(Sorry it’s in Hebrew)

These yummy treats are gluten-free energy bars, all natural with no sugar or soy, just natural ingredients (dates, peanuts, and yummy more ingredients). It is 98 calories for a bar, but it keeps me going until I get back home at noon or sometimes even the afternoon.

I love having them in my bag and I always make sure I have at least two little bars with me… Yummy.

Gaming πŸ˜€

Gaming… Gw2, lol.

I know you might already feel sick of hearing how much I love gaming and Gw2 ((sigh)), but this little human Elementalist sooo cute πŸ˜€ She is my secondary character that I love playing the game with. Her name is Gisela and she came from a loving home, but she lost her parents in the war and her dream is to find her long lost sister πŸ™‚

She will fight and she will help those in need, but her heart is what makes her known all across the land.

My main character Milla is a ranger which I looove the most, but when I have a day, or a week so busy and so hectic, playing with the elements feels more fun for me, lol.

My Notebook (q‿q)

(Using the same pic from my Instagram, because I’m lazy, lol).

I know you’ve seen this notebook before, but I am obsessed with it. I think I will buy another one but in a more blue-ish color (but still bright). I love how this notebook is organized and that you can tear the page clean. The hot bright orange color just makes it more fun to use, lol and I use it a lot.

Saline For Dry Eyes β—• β€Ώ β—•

This small and cute saline for eye wash, this brand is the best ever and I have tried a few brands including one from my doctor. This is just a drugstore generic one, but these little things helped me so much this week. With this extreme heat and dry wind, my eyes suffer a lot. I get red eyes and they dry up until it hurts. These little helpers – help a lot. I finished the box only this week, lol (It had half in it at the start of this week and they are all gone!). I really need to buy new ones πŸ˜€

That is all for this Fav Five, next one will be in two weeks πŸ˜€

Hope you enjoyed my little favorites and I would love to read what your favorites of this week or month πŸ™‚

As always, thank you so much for reading ❀

Fav Five Intro

Welcome to the new feature called ‘Fav Five’Β  (Fav 5 as a tab) This will replace the question mark menu tab.

For those of you who read my newsletter, you probably already know what this is all about, but for those who didn’t sign up for my newsletter yet (what are you waiting for btw, lol… click here),Β  I am sure you can guess what Favorite Five is all about πŸ˜‰

Here I will post only twice a month (on Mondays) about all my favorites of the month (2 weeks), It can be about anything and everything from girly stuff, geeky things, gaming, writing, books, links, and everything that I looove ❀

Personally, I am really excited about this feature and I hope you’ll like this as well, because not only I will share my favorites and learn about yours as well (hopefully), but also because it is a lighter subject. I will continue to talk about writing and books a lot more in the future, lol, so no worries there πŸ˜‰ This is just a short intro, so we are all in line with what’s going on πŸ™‚

Btw, from the next newsletter I am starting a new feature that will run only in the newsletter and not in the blog, so don’t forget to sign up πŸ˜‰

Before I close this post, I really wanted to say thank you so much for all your support these few weeks, you have been so awesome – Thank you ❀ A small side note, I’ve reached 500 followers on Twitter, thank you πŸ™‚

I hope you are all having a wonderful day and tomorrow I think I will finally have some time to read all the overdue posts, lol (sorry about that).
