Writing Ritual Tag

Hello everyone, I hope you are feeling well and having a wonderful day ๐Ÿ˜€ For me, this month is already full of doctors appointments (for my mom), long holiday and almost no time for myself and to write. However, from next week things will change a lot when my husband starts his school, and Iย will have 3 whole days to myself… to write, edit and put a little dent in my projects, lol.

More than a month ago I watched the lovely authorย Kim Chance on her YouTube channel and Iย saw this cute tag and I knew that I have to do this tag ๐Ÿ™‚ Btw if you don’t know Kim Chance or her upcoming book – Keeper, then go visit her channel and say hello โค

Questions for the Writing Rituals Tag

When do you write? (time of day, day of week)

Well, I mostly love to write at night but life won’t have it. So… I write in the morning when I am all alone in the house up until the sun is high up in the sky. I don’t have a specific day to write, every day or time that I get to write is a gift for me โค

How do you seclude yourself from the outside world?

That is so easy. I love listeningย to the Rainy Mood app (and site) โค I’ve been using it for years now. I also try to write when I am alone in the house, that way I can write tons of words without any stress or interruptions.

How do you review what you wrote the previous day?

I usually use two ways: I select everything and let my Windows or Chrom speak what I wrote out loud and take notes. I also love reading what I wrote out loud with the right emotion (if I read a dialog), like actors going through their script.

What song is your go-to when you’re feeling uninspired?

Hmm… This one is hard, as I don’t listen to music while writing, but when I hear rain outside or just rain on that site, It puts me in the right mood for writing, lol, always!

Rain, Coffee n' Notes

What do you always do (i.e. listen to music, read, watch youtube, etc.) when you find yourself struggling with writer’s block?

Writing block is hard at times, but what works best for me is to write little poems, watch youtube on writing and on books, trying to write new ideas and new characters that maybe will inspire me more and free me of whatever stopped me from writing before.

I love going back to my favorite books and re-read them again to get the energies back.

I also take a look at my outline and try to find what made me feel stuck. Maybe there are things that aren’t working for my story and I will need to change them.

What tools do you use when youโ€™re writing?

This is easy. I use my computer (word document) if I can. Sometimes, and sadly this happened a lot lately, lol, I useย my phone (google keep), I use Rainy Mood app or site, pen, and paper (I mean a huge white paper that covers a huge part of my desk, I love it).

What’s the one thing you can’t live without during a writing session?

Pen and paper. I love my huge white papers (the kind that kids use to paint on, lol). If I am out and I am using my phone, then I must use the rainy mood with headphones.

How do you fuel yourself during your writing session?

Coffee, tea, snacks and more coffee. Wait… Did I say coffee already?

Coffee n' Notes

How do you know when youโ€™re done writing?

Well… Here I really agree with Kim on that, I try to ask myself if I feel good with what I wrote and if there was good progress. If the answer is yes then I know I am ready to finish for today. But, from time to time if I must I will use a word count, page or chapter goal, but I try not to do that a lot.

That is all for this tag, this was such a fun tag to do ๐Ÿ˜€

I will tag a few people, but if you wish to do it yourself, consider yourself – Tagged!ย  (don’t forget to link your tag in my comments so I will see your answers).

My 4 NaNoWriMo Tips

NaNoWriMoย (National Novel Writing Month) has started (yay) and what made this even more special, rain has finally arrived. Rain is here

Brainstorm

Take a bit of time to just brainstorm your idea. Write how you see the story starts and how it might end. Knowing how it will end, will help you when you get a bit stuck (this mostly happen, somewhere in the middle of the month). After you have the beginning and end, throw some adventureย on the hero’s way ๐Ÿ˜€ This is by far my favorite thing to do besides the writing itself of course, lol.

Silenceย your editor

Yes, we all know this one and it’s hard not to stop and edit that word, or that annoying scene. But don’t! Leave your wonderful editor aside and remember, now you just write, nothing more. Just write.

Write in short bursts

Most nanowrimosย can tell you that writing in short burst of 15-25 minutes, can truly help you write faster and just put you the right mood for writing. There’s nothing else in the world but your writing in thoseย 15-25 minutes. Here you can use nano words sprints on Twitter, use an app like theย Pomodoro or just put a timer on. This just makes things more manageableย and less overbearing.

Community

Nano is not just a sprint to the finish line, it’s also lots of fun. There is so much powerย in the Nano community, that I urge you to look on Their site for some buddy friends, on twitter andย all the social media, you are following. I love the Nano community so much โค

floral

Enjoy this time, get inspired and have fun with your writing.ย

That’s all for now and I will keep writing and update throughout NaNoWriMo.ย I will not be doing nano every day, but I still hope to achieveย the 50K goal. I did put in my planner some writing day, as I call them.ย So far today my word count is 3K of writing and 4 pages of edit ๐Ÿ˜€ I guess it’s ok for now, lol.

How was your first day of Nano?

As always thank you so much for reading โค

The Writer’s Life Tag

Happy Wednesday everyone ย โค I hope you are all having a wonderful day.

If you have noticed I’ve changed the theme of my blog, I needed a little change and tweaked it a bit (go spot the changesย  ;)). I am so happy with how it came out and I would love to read your thoughts, so don’t be shy to comment below ย โค

For this tag… I saw The Writer’s Life Tag at Kim from Kim Chance on YouTube and I loved it and really wanted to give it a try. So without further ado, let’s start with the tagย  ๐Ÿ˜€

Questions

Write-fuel: What do you eat or drink while writing?
Coffee (decaf) and water. I mostly don’t eat anything while writing.

Write-sounds: What do you listen to while writing?
I think I’ve said it here and there, I love (LOVE) the Rainy Mood website. I use it a lot in my writing, but when I write fight scenes, I love listening to heavy metal (yep), gaming music and Kpop ๐Ÿ™‚

Write-vice: What is your biggest writing distraction?
Life. When My mom needs me, or something happens to her, my sweet hubby and all the things I need to do around the house, to keep it not looking like a pigsty.

Write-horror: What’s the worst thing that’s ever happened to you while writing?
As most of you know, I’ve lost 10 years of work (3 books) and I never found it (didn’t back it up and cry so much). Don’t forget to back up your work.

Write-joy: What’s the best thing that ever happened to you while writing?
The best ever for me is to be able to sit down and write. But if I don’t count that, then the best feeling I had with writing is typing the words The End. It is the best feeling ever! I also had a wonderful moment when I was all alone in the house, not much to worry about and I wrote 10K a day (it was amazing, just heaven).

Write-crew: Who you communicate with or not communicate with while writing?
Sadly, I don’t have any writing buddies (wish I had). I have a few people I can talk to but I can’t call them writing buddies. One of the goals I have for the next quarter is to find some nice and good writing buddiesย  โค

Write-secret: What your secret to success and your biggest writing flaw?
The #1 “secret” for writing, I think it’s determination. I know that things are going slow for me, but never in my life, I wanted to give up. I write when I’m sick, when I’m tired and when I don’t feel like writing. I am left with so little time, that when I finally have the time to write, I just write. I also love planning my work. If I outline the novel or even a scene, I know I will not get lost. Outlining really helps me a lot.
My writing flaw is that I can’t leave a scene or a page if it’s not written the way I want it to be. That is why I edit a lot more than “normal”, lol.

Write-spiration: What inspires you? Or what makes you productive?
I don’t have any special thing that makes me productive. I love to write so much and I barely have a moment to write, so when I do… I just write like a maniac, lol. I try to compensate for days of not writing and write until my fingers are numb.
An inspiration for me is, everywhere. From what I see, a book, a moment that something happens, a voice, you… everythingย  โค However it mostly comes from my weird mind, my dreams and from my over-imaginative mind, lol.

Write-peeve: What is one thing you do or other writers do that’s annoying?
The only thing I can think about is that my mood is related to my writing. If I did well and wrote a lot I am happy, relaxed and almost high, lol. But if I haven’t written anything or the scene I’ve written didn’t go as I wanted, I am very restless and annoyed.
About other writers? I really can’t think of anything. Each writer does what is best for him/her and his/her communityย  ๐Ÿ™‚

Write-words: Are you willing to share something you’ve written?
Yes. In the newsletter I’ve sent out yesterday, I added a little teaser of the book I am editing right now ELE and I hope you liked it.

There you have it, a look into my writer’s lifeย  ๐Ÿ˜€

This was such a fun tag to do and I hope you enjoyed reading itย  โค I will not tag anyone to do this tag, but if you feel like give it try, go for it (you are considered tagged by me) and don’t forget to send a link of your tag my wayย  ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you so much for readingย  โค

So You Want to Self Publish

Such a wonderful post about Self-Publish and a must read for anyone who thinks of going this road ๐Ÿ™‚

...and then there was Sarah

being-a-good-writer.jpegI am often asked some variant of the question: โ€œIโ€™ve written a book. How do I self-publish it?โ€ The question, as well as the answer, can feel overwhelming. Certainly whenever Iโ€™m asked, I often think, where do I start? What level of detail do I share? How much of my time can I give to assisting?

Time is unfortunately a commodity I have very little of nowadays, but I also love to help others, especially those serious about pursuing their creative endeavors. This article attempts to achieve that balance.

What This Is: The basics to get someone started in publishing, to get their feet wet. To literally get a book for sale and ready to market. Things you need to know before you publish, and the places you can go to do so.

What This Is Not: An all-inclusive guide to self-publishing. Thereโ€™s no way I could cram 5+ yearsโ€ฆ

Quarterly Goals Recap

Hello everyone, and Happy Monday to you all ๐Ÿ™‚

The time has come! Time to review my quarterly goals and find out if I was a huge success or a big F (for failure).

If you are not familiar with these Quarterly goals, I’ll give you a little background. I found the idea over at a You-tuber, and a wonderful Author, by the name of Jenna Moreci ๐Ÿ™‚

The idea is to list 10-20 goals for the next three months. This way you will be more focused on your goals and not watch TV or in my case, I won’t be gaming as much as I want

If I accomplish my goals then I am amazing and I can say with a clear mind that I am the queen of the world, lol (or maybe not), but if I fail then I get to publicly say that I have failed, yay me. Sounds fun, right?

If you wanna see the original post of my Quarterly Goals and How I have done throughout these three months in more detail, I will link them here:

January Update

February Update

March Update (Kinda)

  1. Buy new boxes.
  2. Organize things in the boxes.
  3. Finish with the revising.ย  (Happy Dance)
  4. Have a date night with hubby once a week (already doing this <3). Half/Half Well for two months it went amazing, but then March came and everything stopped.
  5. Organize my Momโ€™s things.
  6. Organize writing room.
  7. Outline the new project.
  8. Write 150 pages. No! I am at page 138.
  9. Find my F* lost book. Finally found the notes and already organized them into binders.
  10. Write at least 8 blog posts a month. Half/Half Well I was great for the first two months, but March had different plans for me, lol ๐Ÿ˜€
  11. Post more on my social media. No!
  12. Clean up my Twitter. It looks better, but I still have tons of work.
  13. Change Covers/Banners/Themes (for social media & blog). It looks so pretty and I love it ๐Ÿ˜€ Go see if you haven’t yet ๐Ÿ™‚
  14. Clean & organize my blog. No! Done a few (little) changes and cleaned things up, but on March I have done nothing.

  17. Walk more. LOL, NO! Omg. This one is a huge fat NO! With everything that was going on, I didn’t even try. I was mostly too exhausted physically and mentally to start any workout.
  18. Cook at least 3 healthy meals a week. Half/Half For the first two months, I was relatively okay, but on March a huge NO!
  19. Reconnect with friends IRL (so hard for me). Sadly No!

So, let’s see how I did

If I am not mistaken I managed to accomplish a bit over half of my goals (13.5). So it’s still a huge fat failure for me! However, I am happy of a few ofย the things I was able to accomplish in my writing โค

So I am not totally ashamed of my failure, lol, but I hope to do much better in my next Quarterly goals ๐Ÿ˜€

As always, thank you so much for reading โค

January Update

Happy Tuesday to all my fellow bloggers and readers, I hope you are having a nice day and amazing week ๐Ÿ™‚

If you remember I have done a bit over a week ago, a post about my Quarterly Goals, however, I did miss posting these Monthly Update (a lot), so I thought why not start again ๐Ÿ˜€

Btw, my computer is still not responding, freezing and acting up so much, that I can’t even write a simple blog post on it. It’s not in the budget to buy a new one right now so for now, I am mostly writing and reading your lovely posts over my tablet and phone. It’s hard but at least, I can do something.

As the new year started and the first month has ended (wow, where did January went?) I wanted to do a monthly feature of a monthly update. I used to do this last year, so if you want to walk down memory lane, then here is last year’s January Update ๐Ÿ˜€

Writing

  • Written 20 pages in my current manuscript (Not great, but okay. I will do better).

Having no computer makes writing a lot harder, but I am writing as much as I can on my tablet and phone. So far I haven’t looked at my word count and I am so happy about it ๐Ÿ™‚ It helped me focus better on my goals (who new) ๐Ÿ˜€

Editing

  • Finished revising Immortal Earth (Book 1 of The Earth Legacy Series). Finally got to those blessed words “The End” and not wanting to burn the entire manuscript, lol.
  • Edited 10 more pages of I.E. Making it a total of 45 edited pages (mostly line editing before I give it to a copy editor).

Sadly here, I don’t have much to share. Again, having no computer or printer makes things harder but, I did edit a few pages on my phone and tablet (I can’t tell you just how hard and annoying it is, lol).

I’m a bit disappointed with myself that I haven’t made more progress here, but I hope I will get used to the editing on my tablet or phone and maybe it will make the process easier (wish me luck).

Blogging

  • Monthly Blog posts: 8 (Yay me) ๐Ÿ˜€
  • Read only a few blog posts.

Here I am somewhat proud that I kept to my monthly goal of 8 posts, but I am also a bit disappointed that I’ve missed an entire week of blogging due to a hectic week.

I did manage to finish reading all the blog posts I wanted of a few bloggers these couple of days, but I still have a few more bloggers on my list to go through.

Author, Business

Here, I made a bit of a progress, lol (Yay, feeling like a grown up, lol).

  • I updated most of my Social Media covers so they will look clean & better ๐Ÿ˜‰
  • I wrote the query letter and listed out all the publishers I wanted.
  • I also registered for CreateSpace for the new WIP, that will be self-published and started to see what I can afford to do, what not and all the how’s, lol.
  • I have a huge giveaway coming up and I already started working on it ๐Ÿ˜‰
  • I started accepting questions over on Tumblr so feel free to ask me anywhere you want, Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook and at Coffee n’ Notes. I got so much (mostly anonymous) questions and it’s just so fun going through them and answer, so feel free to ask me anything โค
  • I cleaned up my Monthly Newsletter ๐Ÿ™‚ Btw if you haven’t signed up yet… What are you waiting for? lol. I also changed it a bit, as I started doing something new that you will see in the March Newsletter. That is why the January Newsletter wasn’t sent out (sorry for that). I will send out February Newsletter as planned ๐Ÿ˜‰
  • I also searched for cover artists and editors. So far I liked 3 from my list. If you know any good and not too expensive editor and cover artists feel free to let me know โค

Reading, Books

  • I started reading again (Yay), I missed reading so much. I read much slower than before but I hope it will go faster again, soon.

phew

Overall I think I have done okay, but I still need to are needed. What do you think? Should I get a “well done” pat on the back? Or not ๐Ÿ˜€

How was your month? Did you accomplish a few of your goals? and what are your goals for February?

As always, thank you so much for reading โค

To 10 Tips For New Writers

Hey everyone, welcome back to Coffee n’ Notes, I hope you are all having a nice Tuesday and if you are new to my blog, hi ๐Ÿ˜€

I got a few questions about this over on Tumblr and in my email, asking me for some tips for new writers. So, I thought I’ll write a post with my top 10 tips for new writers.

I remember how scary it was to start writing and being so overwhelmed about it all, where to start and how. Now we all heard that in order to be a writer you need to read and you need to write every day. Nothing new here, but what can really help a writer that is just starting out with the writing process? Just remember I am in no way an expert on writing, lol, these are just a few things that Iโ€™ve learned along the way and that worked well for me.

So, let’s start ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Take a deep Breath Yes, starting a new story (or novel) can be intimidating, but just take a deep breath and relax. Remember that this is what you really want to do. Start by writing whatever pops into your mind and I mean, whatever. It can be a word, a paragraph, anything goes. Tomorrow or a few days later try again. When I was a kid I wrote a 3 paragraphs story (with drawings) of a monster that’s trying to kill a dragon and a little girl saved the dragon. We think we imagine and we dream. Whatever you write is perfect and good and no one has to look at it. You will get better over time, but you must start somewhere.
  2. Ask Questions, For now, let’s go with the story I wrote when I was a kid. You need to ask yourself once you wrote that word or line or even more, is what’s going to happen next? If you don’t know then ask this… How will the little girl be able to kill a monster? What if she could have a magical power? What if she needs someone to help her? Who would that someone be? What if she couldn’t save the dragon? Keep asking and answering slowly as many questions as you can.
  3. Be yourself Donโ€™t write for someone else. Write about the things you would love to read and that genuinely interest you. Readers will know the difference immediately.
  4. Outline as much as you can If you want to have some sort of order in your writings than an outline is the best way to go. There are many people that are writing an entire novel without an outline, but I learned that it makes things much easier and you don’t get much “writer’s block” this way. There are so many ways out there to outline and you should find the best way that works for you. But, to just start the outline with the example I gave, you need to find the keywords that will push your story forward. Like: An evil monster. A little girl hero. A beautiful dragon. Forest. Mountains. Magical powers. A helpful big brother. The girl saves the beautiful dragon. and so on… Until you have some sort of an overall picture of your story.
  5. Donโ€™t be hard on yourself Writing is hard at the beginning, so take your time, practice and try to enjoy the work of imaginary worlds. Always remember that you love this and want to do this. If you don’t love writing, it is best to move to something else ๐Ÿ˜‰ Remember that not everything you write will be amazing and perfect, but it’s your story so keep writing.
  6. Look around with your writer’s hat on I find that looking around me, even when I’m at home can help a lot with my writing. I can always see something that will spark an idea or that perfect name. Everything can be inspiring and if you look and search around you, I promise you will find many good things you can put in your novel. Like: A name. A dialog you heard and changed a bit. A scene in a movie that played out exactly like what you needed, so write it all down and it will help you later with your scenes or plots.
  7. Schedule your writingย Don’t say I will write tomorrow. Say I will write at 8am till 10am for example. Use your planner or calendar to set some writing time and let people around you know that this is the time where they can’t reach you.
  8. Set some writing goals This will keep you accountable for your writing but also help you see the things you need to work on. You can set word count goals, scene goals or any way you choose, but don’t set too many goals for a day/week or a month. Know what you can do and be realistic with your goals (trust me on that).
  9. Research the genre you writing Today you can find everything online, you just need to search for it. If you write Science Fiction, search for some pictures that resemble the type of things you want to put in your novel. If you need names or places, research them as well. If you need some science stuff, or weapons (anything), just google it and search. This part can be fun and addictive so don’t forget why are you doing this and don’t procrastinate on that too much ๐Ÿ˜‰
  10. Figure out your ending Try to write the ending of your story, even if at first it is just a word or a single line. This will guide your writing to the point you need in order to reach that ending. If you choose to change the ending along the way that’s okay, but still write some sort of ending.ย

These are my top ten tips for new writers! I hope it wasn’t too long (sorry if it was too long) and I hope that it helped you in any way ๐Ÿ™‚

As always, thank you so much for reading โค

Quarterly Goals

Goals

Hello my to all my wonderful readers, I hope you are all having a great Saturday โค

Quarterly Goals, is a new feature that I will be posting once in every three months. I saw this feature at a YouTuber Author, Jenna Moreci. I loved it so much, so I thought it would be a great idea to try it out.

So far, it’s amazing.

I’ve already accomplished a few of my goals and I just started writing these goals. Usually, I write my monthly goals and even weekly/daily goals and with all that is going on in my life right now, I always feel overwhelmed and stressed.

Making these goals makes me feel that I have more control of the chaos around me and be able to do the things I want without being too stressed out or guilt. I still use daily/weekly goals but as a broken down of these goals I have below ๐Ÿ™‚

So, this is how it works (as she said in her Vlog)… You need to write 10 to 20 goals and you need to accomplish at least half of those goals by the end of the quarter.

If I accomplish half or more, than it is “well done” for me ๐Ÿ˜€

If I fail, then it is “public failure” for me (Yay) ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Here are my Quarterly goals (Jan-Mar)

  1. Buy new boxes.
  2. Organize things in the boxes.
  3. Finish with the revising.
  4. Have a date night with hubby once a week (already doing this <3).
  5. Organize my Mom’s things.
  6. Organize writing room.
  7. Outline the new project.
  8. Write 150 pages.
  9. Find my F* lost book.
  10. Write at least 8 blog posts a month.
  11. Post more on my social media.
  12. Clean up my Twitter.
  13. Change Covers/Banners/Themes (for social media & blog).
  14. Clean & organize my blog.
  15. Eat healthier (2-3 veggies/fruits a day).
  16. Drink more water (1.5-3 liters a day).
  17. Walk more.
  18. Cook at least 3 healthy meals a week.
  19. Reconnect with friends IRL (so hard for me).
  20. Take some pictures of hubby and me and print them out.
  21. Buy new simple frames and put those picture in them.
  22. Follow blog/social media stats.
  23. Reach 700 followers on Twitter (would love some help in this) ๐Ÿ˜€
  24. Research some things for an awesome giveaway (started).

Okay, so I have a bit more than 20 goals, lol but some are smaller than others (so that’s okay). Wish me luck with all these goals and I do hope I will be able to accomplish at least half and not fail here in front of all you, lol.

I do like that in this goal setting approach, I still hold myself accountable but not without the massive stress I usually feel ๐Ÿ˜€

Are you a goal-setting kind of a person? If you are, how do you go about that?

As always, thank you so much for reading โค

Goodbye 2015: Reflections and Goals

Goodbye2015It’s only a few hours before the New Year arrives and it seems as if the world stops and waits for it to come, lol.

This post will be long (sorry for that), so grab yourself something yummy, a fluffy blanket and relax as you read through this post ๐Ÿ™‚

Reflection On 2015

For me, 2015 went by in a flash, I could barely calm myself down and enjoy a month, and the second month jumped in front of me. Soon enough it’s the end of the year. Looking back at 2015, I recognized some of my wrongs and some of the things I did well.

January-April

These 4 months were a good start of the year. I did struggle a bit with my writing but I managed to write a lot. I was very focused on my goals and I had minimum distractions.

This blog was still relatively new and I learned so much through blogging and through the wonderful people here.

I feel like a broken record saying this, but you guys are more than amazing to me (really). You have an amazing power to lift my spirit and these gifts I always take with me in my everyday life.

May-June

These 2 months were extremely good. I was on the right track and I knew what I want from my writing, home, and blog. I managed to do a lot of work and it made me feel productive and efficient.

July-November

Well, life got a lot more complicated, fast.

My mom had chosen to get out of her house and go to a Home. It was a hard transition for us all and tons more work, lol ๐Ÿ˜€ To tell you the truth, I felt more than overwhelmed and stressed.

I tried to do so much in a short period of time and it was just a matter of time until I will hit that wall. Summer is hard for me, anyways and I wasn’t used being so active at summer time.

I am very happy though that I have the opportunity to help my mom and be there for her, mostly because I get to know my mom as she is now and as I am now (both adults), but I did need to learn to take care of myself better.

In these 5 months, I did learn a lot about my writing and how I can write fast and everywhere ๐Ÿ˜‰ It’s true that this is not always my best writing (I can always edit later), but as long as I’m writing, everything is okay ๐Ÿ™‚

The editing part is hard for me, I have yet learned how to do it if I’m not at home, sitting by my desk with headphones on (with white noise playing).

December

Wow, what a month this is. I am sick for almost the entire month, lol. Did nothing but sleep most of the time.

2015 Goals

NewYear'sResolutions

Saying goodbye to 2015, is a lot easier than other years, lol.

Even though I’ve learned so much this year, it’s still has been a very hectic and stressful year. I could easily say that this year was a bit too much for me and I wouldn’t mind if next year would be a little bit less busy (or crazy) ๐Ÿ˜‰

Here is my Goodbye 2014, if you want to travel a year back (just click on the picture) ๐Ÿ˜€

2014

Writing

My Goals (or plans) for 2015 were: Finish Immortal Earth, Book #1 (The Earth Legacy Series) and even finish editing it as well.

I did finish writing the first draft, but I didn’t start editing it.

Research

I bought a few books about editing, writing and about the business behind the writer/author. Took lots of notes, listened to some awesome podcasts and even watched a few great YouTube videos. Did tons of research so I will know my craft better ๐Ÿ˜‰

Planning & Time Management

I was always good with planning but I was less good with the whole time management thing, lol. Luckily I’ve learned a lot (and still learning) about time management and how to plan things better.

I am so lucky to have such wonderful bloggers who helped me with their posts about this subject and watch some great YouTubers who helped me plan my months and days better and be more efficient and utilize better the tools I have (my planner, the old pen and paper, my phone and even if I want, my tablet) ๐Ÿ˜€

Blogging

Wow, this one was hard and tons of fun ๐Ÿ˜€

I tried to blog 3 times a week, some weeks I blogged more but most of the time I blogged three or less. I have enjoyed experimenting with some features and types of posts and I hope that I will be doing much better next year.

Reading

โ€œBooks must be treated with respect, we feel that in our bones because words have power. Bring enough words together they can bend space and time.โ€
โ€• Terry Pratchett

I happy to say that this year, I’ve read more than I planned to read. I wish I could have read more but thereย were weeks I couldn’t read at all.

I miss books so much and it’s true that I can continue on reading on my tablet or phone, but I miss the touch and smell of a new book.

Health and Fitness

Sadly, here I haven’t succeeded at all. I did try my best to eat healthier but as the stress built up, I went back to my old bad habits ๐Ÿ˜ฆ I need to learn to handle this better. I think I did well with my goal to stay positive and think positive. I do try to go by this rule every day ๐Ÿ˜€

Wow, we reach the end ๐Ÿ˜€ If you made it until the end, you are amazing โค If you didn’t, you are still amazing ๐Ÿ˜‰

As always, thank you so much for reading โค
