5 Ways to Boost your Self-Growth

Covid-19 had made us all hermits and most of us are glued to a screen for most hours of the day. If you are working from home, or not, most of us find ourselves enjoying a lot of screen time, more than ever before.

But with covid, we also saw how important and amazing our screens can be. They can be a powerful tool for us to connect, work, and learn. And as time passes by and we are still in the mids of this pandemic, we can also utilize our screen for some self-growth, self-care, and learn how to be better humans.

So if you are ready to better yourself I have a few free ways you can learn new things, be better at your craft and create new things to share with the world, that will inspire others and yourself, to be what you want to be.

Learn

This is the first thing you should do for your self-growth and especially if you want to know how to do things better. knowledge = power that’s what my mom always said to me, and especially in these hard days we are living in, learning is the best way to see our future dream, becoming a reality.

There are many completely free courses out there, you don’t have to enroll for skillshare, or masterclass, or any other class out there for payment if you can’t afford it. Learning can come from many sources, but I do recommend choosing your sources wisely 😉 Google search and research the courses, see what fits best for yourself and for the future you want to create.

A few weeks ago I enrolled in a few free courses about marketing, social media, and blogging, even though I am a blogger for over 6 years, I still have tons to learn and I want to achieve lots of things with my blog. So learning is a never-ending process that we can choose to go through, but it is well worth our money or our time, and a wonderful tool for our personal development.

Read

Reading a book about your interests and self-care, mindfulness, and self-growth will help you combine knowledge and help you see your path better.

You can read blogs and articles about the things you want to achieve. Let’s say, you want to be an author, read articles and read stories from the authors you love and see how they did what they did, how they are going about their lives to achieve their dreams, what tools of the trade you will need, and so on.

When it comes to honing on your power and doing the things you want to do, it good to have a different point of view to show you that you can do this if you read, learn, and practice your craft and eventually do the steps you will need to do to become let’s say an author, or an artist, a chef or whatever you wish to be.

Here are some of books I’ve read and loved:

Mindset – Dr. Carol Dweck
7 Habits Of Highly Effective People – Stephen R. Covey
The Four Agreements – Don Miguel Ruiz
You Are a Badass – Jen Sincero
Atomic Habits – James Clear
Girl, Wash Your Face – Rachel Hollis

Listen

You can find very easily these days, lots of youtube videos and podcasts about self-growth and self-care, and how to become your amazing future self that is doing and succeeding doing what you always wanted.
Listen and take notes, don’t just put it in the background (which sometimes can be okay), but I mean listening and doing the work of growing will be achieved only by taking notes of what you consume, even if you a show for fun, take notes of the things that inspire you. When I listen to a good podcast or an inspiring youtube video, I always take notes, and then I read them, and write what I’ve learned from this and what I can take with me forward.

You Do You 🙂

You can also learn about self-growth, mindfulness, and how to become what you want to be, just by doing it, lol. It is that simple. Sometimes the small steps we take towards our better future are almost unseen by us, but with each step, we are getting much closer to our goal.

You can do this by simply jump into the pool, if you want to open a youtube channel about writing or mindfulness, or just vlogging about your day or your art, don’t overthink it, just do it. You will grow as you go and you will know what to do to get better with each step you take. You will still need to do your research but don’t let the fear get a hold on you, and just go for it.

You can even do your own course online on a subject you know (we all have a few things that we already know, and we already have a good amount of knowledge about them so we can easily share them with others). Choose a subject that you know about and publish it even for free, it will help you grow and your audience as well.

These were some of the ways that you can boost your personal development to new highs, be the person you want to be, and walk towards your path you want to be on or just improve the life you are living right now.

Stay safe, warm, and kind ❤
