Omg, where do I begin?

As always, there are so many things going on at once in my life. July and August (so far) are very much the same as the months before (hectic and crazy). But, I did manage to get things done. Maybe not as much as I wanted or planned, but hey… Some progress is still progress 😀

My Editing

I was able to sit down and edit. I didn’t reach my monthly goal of 50K (for July), but I got a nice amount done of 34K. I was happy I even got to do that, lol. Sadly August wasn’t a good start. Since the 1st of August, I only edited 4K.

I know… That’s just horrible. Listen to me, if you are like me and you love to write more freely and edit later – don’t! For the love of all that is human (lol), don’t! I learned this the hard way.

I am more of a freestyle writer, all I want is to tell the story and give life to the characters and the world around them, while they adventure through many beautiful and painful moments.

Now… Editing all of this massive amount is hard (for me), but recently I’ve learned that if I write freely and then I take a day in the week where I only edit the stuff I’ve written before, it made the process move faster and better.

Now I know this may not work for all, but for me, it was a hard-learned lesson

Online Things

Well, recently I had a few issues with my social media/blog/my newsletter.

My blog stopped sending me people’s posts to my email (since mid-June) and I’m trying to fix that, but I haven’t yet been successful. Also, my scheduling with WordPress has gone crazy (again). I really don’t know what to do with it 😦 Every time I schedule, it just won’t post at the right time and date that I say or it just posts in the date that I’ve written, lol.

So if you have any advice, I would love any help (any) 😀

My email (Gmail), decided to mix all my filters, making me do the only thing I could do… Delete all my filters (lol), yep! For me this was horrible.

My newsletter (wow), there are so many things going on there, with the new rules of free emails and such things, I haven’t yet done anything about it. I have been trying, though. What I was able to do (finally), is change my newsletter’s layout and I am happy with how it looks (it looks shiny and pretty, lol).

Indoor things 😉

With all the house cleaning that I had to do these past few weeks and believe me when I say, I had tons of cleaning and organizing to do.

But as life happens, I did months of cleaning in a less than 2 days, lol with almost no sleep at all 😀 Saturday and Sunday, I’ve slept for most of these days. But now, the house is clean and looks amazing ❤

I still have some unfinished projects around the house that we must take care of, but for now… I am happy and not so stressed about the house chores. It was so fun to just sit and edit and while looked around the house to see it clean and just go back into my editing (I call this a success) 😀

Okay, we are done for now, lol. Before this post will get too long.
