I really wanted to do a small recap of January so far, as we are in the middle of the month.
This month is shaping up to be a major month of changes for me. This is the month I step outside of my solitary shell as a writer and slowly transform into a more determined and more professional writer.
Writing
So far I wrote 18 pages to my story, well I wrote 20 but deleted 4 then added 2 new ones, lol, too much math?
I get very much inspired by own determination, as I see myself stepping out and overcoming my greatest fear in regards to this business of being an author someday. I am sure you guessed it by now it is my picture. The moment I shared it, everything opened, No more fear! Well that’s not true, lol, I still have fears, but not on the subject where people know who I am. Now that I am “out there” more, much more than before, it has become easier for me to write.
I am looking for a better space for me to write, that will be only for that, nothing more. That way, whenever I see that place I’ll know it’s just for writing, like a trigger. I know many authors I love, have that and I think it will aid me as well and push me even more in my writing.
My plan for the next two weeks is to push myself a bit more and write about 50 more pages. It can be a lot with all I need to do, but I really want to do this so sacrifices will have to be made.
- My plan for the next few months is to combine my writing with my editing. It means that I want to edit one of the books I wrote already called The Adventures Of Biloby The Wizard. I just need to see how to do them both š
My Author Platform and social media
For me this is the hard part, I wish I had the budget to hire someone to do that for me, lol, but I can’t.
I am learning and researching a lot. Tons of notes have already started to pile up in my social media folder, that I really need to sort, lol. I am looking not only on how they (Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest…) work but also on how I can use them for my needs and what else I need as a writer and as a future author (hopefully).
This research even helps me to be more social with my wonderful readers and get to know them better ā¤
My Blog
No major change here, I am still posting at the same rate, but in the coming weeks, I am planning to post more š
I want to try harder to stay in touch with my readers.
Sugar and processed food free January
In this, I am doing very well š
It’s hard but I am very determined to stick with it. It’s harder than I thought as a lot of foods contains sugar (much more than I thought). It makes my life a bit, well let’s be honest a lot, harder! Everything has sugar in it, lol, even smoked salmon that I looove, I wanted to buy some today but the second ingredient in it was sugar… why? Oh well.
Reading
Sadly, none. I don’t know how to fit it in with everything else, but I am thinking about it.
At the start of the January I finished 2 books, but since then I haven’t read at all.
That is all for my update, hope you are having a great weekend and you are all resting well.
Thank you so much for reading ā¤

Keep working on your goals and don’t give up. š I totally get you on the whole social media thing. I wish I could hire people to do that for me too. It can get confusing and honestly sometimes I forget.

I really like this theme for your blog. The girl who made it makes so many beautiful ones!
One of my goals was to get back into blogging but I have miserably failed that goal.
But 2015 just began so I am not going to stress too much.
I’m going to go on my computer this weekend and just do one or two posts, and then go over to my blog and clean up a little that.
You know update the sidebar, maybe get rid of a few very old posts I just don’t work anymore, make sure everything is up-to-date and working properly, etc.
Im going to be jotting a few ideas for new posts down. And I will make some notes on books I have finished reading-for review posts, and books I am currently reading.
I have a folder on my computer and when I write in MS Word I save all of my documents to it.
It helps me keep my thoughts and ideas organized. One is for my blog, one is personal, one is health, etc.
In 2015 I really have to make a lot of major changes to my diet. My thyroid condition and my liver honestly cannot take the junky way I have been eating.
I started by taking normal multivitamins and I added supplemental ones to the mix.
I’m going to meet with my doctor in February and come up with a game plan. A healthy game plan. Because me and food are not always friends.
Anyway I’m so glad that I found your blog
I will definitely be back. My blog has not been updated in a while-but if you want to stop by and just check out the last old post …please don’t judge me by it… LOL
Talk to you soon friend.

Hi Fran, It’s so nice to see you here ā¤
Thank you so much for the comment and I think that blogging is all about the timing.
I had a blog before this one, but it didn't work for me. so I took a break from it.
This blog is just what I needed, and it came in the perfect timing as well. I was ready ā¤
I will check your blog out and looking forward seeing new posts from you:)
Going over your health with the doctor is very important and I am sure that you too will be able to work things for the best.

You are way ahead of me. I have yet to start a page on my children’s book. I am doing tons of research and I am feeling overwhelmed, too. Great job on your writing and stepping outside the box. Good luck. š

Awww, thank you so much for your comment. I hate research, lol, so I leave it till the end unless I have too in order for the plot to move on. I organize them by chapters and by paragraphs if needed so I wont get too overwhelmed š

Good job! I have a social media to read folder as well. My advice, focus on one outlet at a time and do one thing on it at a time. Its easy to become overwhelmed with all the things you can do on social media that you just learn and learn but never do anything with what you learned!

Thank you so much for your advice. I do try to take one day and focus on 1 social media on that day. I have so much more to learn on how to use it well. I hope that bit by bit I will be able to work with it better.
